Team Leo's Want to know a little more about the people behind the magic?

Laura Leo - Owner/Managing Director
BA (HONS) Textile Design 
University Of Derby

Laura looks after the general running of Leo's day to day! (Occasionally with the help of Domino)

Working alongside her team, she makes sure that every item that leaves Leo's is of the highest standard and keeps the fantastic reputation of Stageworld (from 2015) growing as we move into our new identity of Leo's.

From a young age Laura has always been creative and enjoyed learning new crafts and skills. 

It was her nan that taught her to knit at age 5, was her teacher and sometimes her toughest critic.

Laura has a BA (HONS) in textile design from the University of Derby along with many other qualifications and creative experience. 

Musicals on stage and screen have always played a huge part in Laura's life (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Calamity Jane and Half a Sixpence were watched many times as a child). So with her keen eye for detail and love of theatre she enjoys building every costume and picturing it on stage.

She always enjoys learning new skills and every day at Leo's means meeting lots of new people and working with a fantastic team! 

She would like to thank all her friends and family for their on going support which means she gets to live her ultimate dream every day!

​​Louise - Lead Seamstress
BA (HONS) Fashion Design For Performance
Birmingham City University

Louise is our Lead seamstress here at Leo's.
She works closely with Holly in the production of the shows and general alterations and up keep of the costumes.

Louise's speciality is close work alterations, keeping our costumes in ship shape ready for the stage.
As well as the creation of our costumed productions, she also takes the lead for new costumes that we make here, From Initial idea, to pattern and then production.

​Holly - Team Leader 

Holly is our Team leader here at Leo's and works closely with Laura regarding show planning and general organiation. 

Her main focus is working on the production of the shows we put together.

Holly has a strong knowledge of shows and the stock so has the perfect skill set to put together beautiful pieces true to the show she is working on, as well as taking inspiration from her own creative skills. 

Holly's speciality is creating costumes from our original stock as well as newly made ones, while maintaining the style, Detail and elegance of each period and style. 

Graham - Administrator

​Graham joined the team in 2022 to provide Laura and the team with admin support and he'll often be your first point of call whenever you make an enquiry.

He juggles our busy show schedule and liaises with our drivers to make sure your costumes are delivered when you need them ready for your show.  He also updates the website with the latest show images.

Graham also sometimes gets involved with costume creation and is a dab hand with a glue gun!
