Laura was the heart of our little business - her creativity, kindness, and passion for musical theatre shone through in everything she did. She poured her heart into every costume, and her beautiful designs have brought joy to so many performers and audiences across the country and beyond. Whilst we are heartbroken by her loss, we want to reassure everyone that Leo's Theatrical Costumiers will continue to run as normal. We'll keep sharing Laura's wonderful creations with the world, just as she would have wanted. Her sparkle will continue to shine on stages big and small. Thank you to everyone for your love, support, and understanding during this very difficult time. It means the world to us. With love, Holly, Louise, Amy and Graham Leo's Theatrical Costumiers Hard to believe it's already been a month since our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory costumes were out in Geneva with Simply Theatre Academy.
Charlie is proving to be a very popular show at the moment, with lots of enquiries hitting our inbox. If you are looking to put on this fantastic musical please get in touch as we would love to share our images with you! I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since our journey began!
We will be celebrating properly at our party next month, but today has been lovely to relax and receive so many beautiful messages! Thank you to everyone who has played a part in our story so far… Here's to the next 10! What a wonderful day with the whole Leo’s team!
Wishing a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all our wonderful customers and friends! With thanks from Laura, Holly, Louise and Amy! Wishing ESNA Theatre good luck on their last show of the week, performing the fabulous Wind in the Willows!
It was an absolute joy to watch their dress rehearsal - a perfect example of why we love what we do here at Leo's. Take a little look at our costumes in action and looking fabulous below. From creation through to it's debut - our first Belle wearing the iconic gold dress from Beauty and the Beast! Laura outside the new premises on Hortonwood, Telford. “You’re moving again?” I hear you ask… As you may remember (or may not have even realised) we moved very early in the pandemic into the premises of the Leo family ice cream business. This wasn’t ideal, however while we waited for 18 months for our world to re-start it kept all our costumes safe and, for the last 21 months, we’ve been doing what we love again, as well as celebrating our 8th birthday earlier this year! It’s though all our hard work and love of our craft that we are moving again to a purpose built unit just down the M54 to Telford on August 1st 2023. The same level of service and the attention to detail remains the same, we will just have a brand new postcode. Keep your eyes on our socials over the coming weeks for some behind the scenes photos of our big move and we look forward to continuing supplying all of your amazing productions from our new home. Love, Laura and the Leo’s team x Check out these fantastic images of our wardrobe for Curtain Call Theatre Company Shrewsbury's production of The Wedding Singer! It's such a fun show and we had a blast going back to the 80s to put this set together.
Get in touch if you are putting on this fantastic show - we would love to help you bring it to life. Head to the contact page now for more information. Our spooky new wardrobe for The Addams Family musical took to the stage with Starstruck Theatre Company for their opening night this evening - looking spectacular... or should that be spooktacular?!
This is already shaping up to a very popular wardrobe with bookings already coming in for 2024. If you are planning a production of The Addams Family get in touch with us today to find out more, we'd love to dress your show. |
